I have always wanted children. From as early as I can remember I have always had a strong maternal instinct. Me and my brother are 5 years apart so needless to say he was my human doll. Until he was old enough to protest I would cart him around the house, change his clothes and when my mom wasn’t looking steal him and put him in my doll highchair. Apparently I even tried to breastfed my dolls when my mom was breastfeeding my brother. I have always loved children and have always felt comfortable around them. I think I inherit that from my mom. Actually I am sure I inherit that from my mom.
It wasn’t until June of this year that I realised my place in life was to be a mother. Like I said before I always wanted to have children, but it wasn’t until my son Jaxson was born that I realised being a mom was what would complete me. As soon as I set eyes on him I had a love for him that only a mother or father can describe. Everyone who told me this were right, nothing is stronger than a mothers love!
In this blog I intend on taking you with me through my journey from the time I found out I was pregnant through motherhood. We can talk about everything from cloth diapers to products I find useful to everyday problems I have found ways to solve or maybe haven’t. I enjoy writing and I enjoy every moment of being a mom, so why not put the two together.
My little guy Jaxson is 6 months old. Time flies when your having fun doesn’t it. So needless to say I have a lot of catching up to do!
Talk to you soon,
~Cara~
